No party is complete without a photobooth! We know this because The Selfie Place is always booked for our Selfie Stations! We show up at weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduation parties and birthday celebrations. We are always first choice for an employee appreciation party and corporate guys love the sleek look of our Selfie Station.
But, hold on to your lattes - we have found that some folks like to do their own thing when it comes to photobooth's and we are here to help you out!
There are a lot of tutorials on the web that show you how to do a DIY photobooth, but there is one missing piece! It is the take-away printed photo from the event. So, this is where we come in.
We have a cool Instagram Printer that will print all of your guests photos that are taken the day of the party. All you have to do is give the event a "hashtag" name and our Instagram printer can pull and print the photos. We will show you step by step how you can create your own photobooth experience, have all the fun of a regular booth and get photos printed out on site! So here you go! Mark these steps down and call us when you are ready to book our Instagram Printer!
Step 1: Create Your Event Hashtag.
Before your event, create your hashtag. Make sure you search on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to make sure you have a unique tag.
Step 2: Let Your Guests Know What The #Hashtag Is.
When you have your hashtag, tell all of your quests prior to the event what the #hashtag is. Also, let them know that they will be using this #hashtag for photos at the event. Encourage your guests to take photos at the event and ask them to throw the photos up to Instagram or Twitter using the #hashtag you created for the event.
Step 3: Have a Designated Table for Props.
At the event, have a designated table and place a chalkboard (super cool) sign on it that the items are to be used for props for photos. You can even place the table by a blank wall at the event and put any kind of decoration on the wall you want. You can let your guests know, if the wish, they can take photos against that wall. But - and this is a big but - they can take the photos anywhere at the event. They can even take them prior to getting to the venue, because of the unique #hashtag (Step 1) you created.
Step 4: Place Instagram Printer Next to Prop Table.
The last piece you will need is the Instagram Printer. The printer will be set-up to pull and print all of the photos that your guests have taken with their own mobile device and placed up on Instagram or Twitter. The sleek design and illuminated #hashtag logo is super hip and very easy to use.
Step 5. Snap It. Tag It. Print It.
Now you are ready to enjoy the party. Your guests will snap their photo, tag their photo and print their photo with the Instagram Printer. You have all the fun of a photobooth, with the added creativity of your guests, get all photos put up to social media AND get a quality print of the photo. The photo is printed out with the name of the person who posted it and the comments that were put up. The photo can also be branded with the name and date of the event.
